American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) Annual Meeting. With a record turnout of more than 32,000 attendees, GO Partners’ attendance was well received. Our associates Meredith Giambattista and Sara Bjorkman held numerous meetings with our current clients and potential clients in discussions ranging from developing an online educational portal for Orthopaedic surgeons for coding and reimbursement – as well as introducing our new BPO services, including our Workers Compensation Help Desk and our Appointment Scheduling and Patient Relationship Management call center.
The AAOS - The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons: Founded in 1933, the Academy is the preeminent provider of musculoskeletal education to orthopaedic surgeons and others in the world. It’s continuing medical education activities include a world-renowned Annual Meeting, multiple CME courses held around the country and at the Orthopaedic Learning Center, and various medical and scientific publications and electronic media materials.
The AAOS - The American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons: Founded by the Academy Board of Directors in 1997, the Association engages in health policy and advocacy activities on behalf of musculoskeletal patients and the profession of orthopaedic surgery.

Louisiana Orthopaedic Association (LOA) Annual Scientific and Educational Meeting. The LOA has 300 plus members and is over 50 years old. GO Partners was a Sponsor of the show and an exhibitor. GO Partners is new to the state of Louisiana and LOA was a great introduction to the doctors and their practices. We were introduced to many physicians and practices from across the state.
GO Partners was also able to renew relationships with vendors we had worked with on previous projects in other states. In summary, we enjoyed meeting many Louisiana orthopaedic physicians and practice managers and look forward to many new relationships.

American Association of Orthopaedic Executives (AAOE) 40th Annual Conference. GO Partners was a sponsor and an exhibitor at this event that had more than 500 registered attendees from across the nation. We had a tremendous show that not only saw us forging many new relationships, but also launched several strategic partnerships with other major forces in the Orthopaedic world.
The AAOE - The American Association of Orthopaedic Executives is an organization dedicated to providing education and resources to orthopaedic practice executives and their staff members. The AAOE is the premier orthopaedic practice management association. Their goal is to identify and provide unmatched peer-to-peer networking and to be recognized for educational excellence for orthopaedic practice executives.

California Orthopaedic Association (COA) Annual Meeting / QME Course
The California Orthopaedic Association annual meeting attracted almost 390 orthopaedic physicians and office managers this year in Santa Barbara. The course focuses on Economic Survival of Orthopaedic Practices, Pediatric Fracture Care, Latest Techniques, Orthopaedic Management for an aging population, and several CME courses.
The COA also hosted several sessions to discuss Legislative updates as COA was designed to protect Orthopedists' rights to practice medicine by monitoring and taking an active role in legislative or regulatory issues impacting on orthopaedic surgeons and their patients. They represent the orthopaedic community through Coalitions comprised of consumer and medical specialty groups concerned with onerous managed care practices.
GO Partners was a sponsor and an exhibitor at this show and met with a few of our current clients along with generating new friendships. Meredith Giambattista and Christine Cojulun attended the show Thursday through Sunday. The ladies met with many current and potential clients to discuss hot topics like the Worker’s Compensation Helpdesk, Red Flag Polices, and reimbursement trends. The HITECH Stimulus Act prompted many EMR discussions and implementation recommendations. The general consensus from most of the conversations was how GO Partners can assist practices in increasing profits, decreasing overhead, and putting more on the bottom line.
